Optus 5G Home Internet is similar to 4G Home Internet - a wireless alternative to Fixed products including nbn^TM, Cable and ADSL.

5G Home Internet uses a modem to connect to the 5G network. It provides wired ethernet and WiFi for connecting your devices at home.

The benefit of Wireless Internet is there's no need for a phone line or wiring. 5G Home Internet is also simple to set up, with no technician appointment required.

Once the 5G network is fully rolled out, it will also include:

• faster download and upload speeds
• increased responsiveness between devices
• greater bandwidth available to connect more devices at the same time

Optus 5G Home Internet operates at 3500 MHz. This means mobile signals can travel long distances at higher speeds.

To switch your existing Optus home internet* service to 5G Home Internet:

1. Check whether Optus 5G Home Internet is available at your address
2. Sign up online or call the 5G concierge team
3. Cancel your existing home internet service
