If your screen time rules aren't working, it could be because your kid's profile(s) is registered on multiple iOS devices with different time zones.

If you're seeing a blank screen when you open the McAfee® Safe Family App on your Windows PC, try the below troubleshooting steps.

1. Restart the McAfee® Safe Family App
   • Open the tool tray (the arrow on your task bar next to the date/time)
   • Right click the Safe Family App icon
   • Click Exit
   • Re-open the App by double clicking the Safe Family desktop icon
   • If the screen is still blank, try step 2
     
     
2. Uninstall & reinstall the McAfee® Safe Family App
   • Follow the instructions here to uninstall the App from your devices
   • Restart your PC
   • Reinstall the App onto your devices by following the instructions on this page

If you're unable to remove the App from your child's Android device, it could be because the uninstall process is protected. To correct your Device Administration permissions, follow these steps:

1. Open Settings
2. Click Security
3. Click Device Administrators
4. Uncheck Safe Family

Once you delete a kid's profile it can't be recovered.

To remove a kid's profile:

1. Log in to the McAfee^® Safe Family App under your parent profile
2. Click a kid's name from the list of family members
3. Click the pencil icon near the kid's name (the pencil will change to a trash can icon)
4. Click the trash can
5. Click Delete in the pop-up

Note: You must have at least 1 kid profile. If you only have 1 kid registered, you can't remove them. You'll need to add additional kid profiles before you can remove the original kid.

If you've forgotten your password you can set a new one by clicking I forgot my password on the App Sign In screen.
