How to uninstall the McAfee® Safe Family App

From the 15th of June, you will no longer be able to purchase McAfee Safe Family App. If you have already subscribed to this feature before this date, you can continue to use it as usual until July 31st.

No longer need the McAfee^® Safe Family App?

You can uninstall the App from your device(s) using the instructions below.

Note: After uninstalling the App, your subscription will continue to appear on your bill, but don't worry, it's free and you won't be charged.

If you would no longer like to see the McAfee^® Safe Family subscription on your bill, you can deactivate your subscription by contacting us.

Cancel subscription

Once you've uninstalled the App from devices, you'll no longer be using the McAfee^® features.

Your McAfee^® Safe Family subscription will still continue to appear on your Optus bill ($8.99 charge and credit). But don't worry, the subscription charge is credited by Optus on your bill, so you won't be charged.

However, if you want to cancel your subscription you can do this by contacting us.

Note: If you change to an ineligible plan, your McAfee^® Safe Family App subscription will end.
