Enabling your Netcomm modem/router to work with Optus

In this article, we'll help you set up your Netcomm modem to help you get connected to our network as smoothly as possible.

We support a range of modems, but as every device is a little different, it's important to check if your modem is compatible. If you run into any issues, we'll do our best to get your nbn® modem working, though support for non-Optus modems is limited.

Resetting your modem may resolve any connectivity issues. Using a pin or paper clip, insert it into the 'reset' hole on the back of the modem and hold it for 10 seconds. Allow around 5 minutes for the modem to perform a reset.

If that does not work, follow these steps, depending on your technology type.
