The Safety@Optus team have developed two standards specific to the industry along with a series of Hazard Management Standards based on the legislated High Risk Tasks that must be managed and controlled.
Suppliers must demonstrate in their SMP how you will meet the requirements set out in the standards. It is recommended the standards are enacted in conjunction with other applicable Optus contract conditions regarding Health & Safety and the governing legal requirements.
If there is of any inconsistency or ambiguity between these standards and the WHS laws, the WHS laws shall take precedence.
