When visiting an Optus Facility, Optus is required to inform Suppliers beforehand of any known hazards that might be inherent to the facility and present upon the Supplier's arrival.
In response to this requirement, Optus has created individual facility risk registers which outlines the typical work health and safety risks that may be encountered. These registers are reviewed on an annual basis. The Supplier must do a formal risk assessment of the area in which he/she plans to undertake work to address and control any unforeseen hazards.
If there are hazards that cannot be eliminated at the time of the works undertaking, they are to be reported to Optus using the Public Hazard Form to be added to Facility site risk register for future reference and control
