What is Optus SubHub?

In this article, we'll explain what Optus SubHub is, how it works and how it looks on your bill or invoice.

Optus SubHub brings your content subscriptions into one place, making it easier to add, manage and review your various subscriptions.

To activate Optus SubHub, visit Optus SubHub and sign in using your My Account login details.

To access Optus SubHub, you’ll need to be an eligible Optus customer. Optus SubHub is not available for Prepaid customers.

You can check your eligibility at Optus SubHub:

  • Prepaid services are not eligible
  • You must be the Optus account holder to access SubHub

Note. If your Optus service is pending or yet to be activated, you can view and activate your SubHub account but can't add new subscriptions until the service is active.

Subscriptions activated through SubHub are included on your Optus bill / invoice. Your billing period for content subscriptions will be based on when you signed up for the specific subscription. Your subscription will be renewed on the same calendar day every month.

Note. Your content subscription renewal dates may not be the same as your billing / payment cycle. However, you'll only be charged once per billing / payment cycle for each subscription.

If you cancel your subscription before the end of your current Optus billing / payment cycle, you'll retain access to that content subscription for the remainder of the renewal period.

You'll receive a discount when linking multiple paid content subscriptions to your SubHub account.

The discount will be deducted from your monthly Optus bill / invoice at the end of each billing month based on the number of active subscriptions for that month. Free trial periods do not count for paid subscriptions.

See below for how the discount works:

  • If you have 1 paid subscription = You pay the SubHub RRP
  • If you have 2 paid subscriptions = You'll receive a 5% discount
  • If you have 3 or more paid subscriptions = You'll receive a 10% discount

If you're an Optus customer (excluding Prepaid), you'll manage your content subscriptions through Optus SubHub.

Your SubHub subscription charges will also appear on your bill / invoice.
