Calls to numbers that have been blocked will hear an announcement: 

"The number you have called has been reported as being used for scam activities. For more information, please visit optus.com.au/CallStop."

If you believe that calls to your phone number have been blocked in error, please email CallStop@optus.com.au.

If you're trying to reach your financial institution, please use official sources of information to find the correct contact details, such as on the back of your debit or credit card. 

Don't click on URLs or use any contact details that were contained in the message you received.
