As part of the onboarding process for Optus Suppliers, it is mandatory for most suppliers to be registered on Optus' Work Health and Safety (WHS) management platform, DoneSafe.
If part of your contractual requirement is to be registered within DoneSafe, your organization must nominate a primary WHS contact known as the Contractor Key User (CKU). This person will have the authority to access DoneSafe, submit incident and near miss reports. The appointed CKU can be changed whenever required.
All Supplier inductions are completed in DoneSafe. However, a worker does not need to be a nominated key user to acess the worker inductions
In addition, DoneSafe is the Optus WHS repository where the Safety@Optus team gathers all the required WHS documentation from the Suppliers. In some instances the Supplier will be required to upload safety management plans, CM3 accreditation certificates, SWMS, risk registers and any other additional information requested.
If you do not have access to DoneSafe and need to report an incident, please contact your Manager or Supervisor.
