Meet Jenni – Optus Business Centre Adelaide South

With small and medium businesses accounting for 98% of the “business done” in South Australia, they really are the lifeblood of the state’s economy. And no one is more passionate about keeping them pumping than Jenni Taylor-Pal, who heads up the team at the Optus Business Centre South Adelaide.
“With the large enterprises headquartered mainly on the eastern seaboard, over a third of South Australians are employed by a small business,” says Jenni. “So supporting these businesses is so vitally important, and indeed our focus.”
Now having firm and valuable footholds in the South Australian business community, it’s hard to believe that two short years ago, the Optus Business Centre Adelaide South didn’t yet exist!
“My fantastic team started out as just my Business Development Manager, Luke, Account Manager Katherine, and myself. We pounded the pavement and worked very hard together to grow the Optus Business Centre from the ground up,” Jenni reflects, proudly.
“We have a tight knit team of individuals with a strong work ethic and commitment to account management. I’ve always been very customer focussed and I really impart that onto my team in everything we do,” says Jenni.
The team don’t take their customers for granted and strive to differentiate themselves from their competitors.
Whether that’s working out the best value solution for our customers so they can minimise unnecessary expense or taking ownership of technical issues so that our customers can get onto doing business – customer service always comes first.”
And Jenni’s team has been their commitment this service to many businesses around South Adelaide including with their active membership in SA Woman, an association that connects South Australian businesswomen and empowers them to make positive change.
“We are SA Woman’s preferred telco partner for their members. Through the partnership we are growing our customer base and ensuring South Australian businesses are getting the best customer service possible.”
The team really do have a competitive edge and love to celebrate the wins – for both the Optus Business Centre and their customers. They are particularly proud of their new customer, Guide Dogs SA/NT.
“It’s lovely to be able to look after an organisation that does so much good in the community,” says Jenni.
“I think we won them over because we really took the time to understand what they needed and offered a solution that’s more tailored to their needs than our competitors.”
Whilst Jenni’s team is just starting out, it’s growing rapidly to pursue its vision of providing South Australian businesses with exceptional service and to raise the bar on value.
We can’t wait to see what the future holds for the team at the Optus Business Centre Adelaide South.
