Keeping your children safe online

To help keep your children's web experience a safe one, this page provides resources about parental controls, socialising online, having safety discussions with your kids, cyberbullying, how to report it and access to Kids Helpline.

Content Filters

The Communications Alliance has a list of approved family friendly internet content filters that restrict and monitor web sites which may be offensive and/or inappropriate for children. The list is available at Communications Alliance Ltd.

Cyber-bullying and reporting a complaint

The Office of the eSafety Commissioner investigates complaints about cyber-bullying via social media sites.
