How to report hazardous or damaged Optus equipment

Here’s how to report faulty or dangerous Optus equipment such as cables that have fallen. You do not need to be an Optus customer to report damage.

Important: DO NOT touch damaged equipment.

To report equipment that is a threat to public safety:

• Remove yourself and others from immediate danger
• Call 1800 505 777

To report equipment that is damaged but not dangerous, use this form.
