AIA Health Insurance with AIA Vitality Apple Watch offer FAQs

In this article we'll go through the most commonly asked questions about the AIA Health Insurance with AIA Vitality Apple Watch offer.

  • For Apple Watch or service enquiries with Optus, including the redemption of your Apple Watch, you can message Optus 24/7 via: app.optus.com.au/msg-us or optus.com.au/contact
  • For loan agreement or payment errors, you should contact: etika - Ph: 1300 324 737
  • For redemption code, Active Benefits or credit threshold dispute you should contact AIA Vitality - Ph: 1800 848 254
  • For existing or new insurance policies you should contact AIA Health - Ph: 1800 333 004

You can use your data with eligible services on the same Optus account. Eligible services are: Optus Choice Plus, Optus Choice Plus Data, Optus Plus Family and Optus Plus Kids. These plans do not data share with other plans. Check your CIS document or My Optus app to check your plan.

Number Share is an included option on your plan. You will need an eligible Optus Consumer or Business month to month mobile plan (excluding Prepaid) to use Number Share. Once you redeem your Apple Watch, you will need to activate Number Share using the Watch app. Once activated, you will receive cellular connectivity for use with an eligible Optus mobile service.

If you are not currently an eligible Optus mobile customer, you may need to establish a number sharing service with your existing telco provider. Your existing telco provider may charge you a monthly fee. You will need to contact your telco provider directly for specific charges.

Please note that if you do not have an eligible Optus service with Number Share activated (or if you so choose) your SIM can be used in a separate SIM-enabled device.

While a Magnetic Charging Cable is included with the Apple Watch 7, as part of Apple's efforts to reach their environmental goals, the Apple Watch Series 7 does not include a power adapter. You can use your existing Apple charging adapter with the Magnetic Charging Cable or purchase an adapter.

Once your order has been processed you won't be able to change your delivery address, so make sure to put in the correct address when placing your order.

Yes, we'll need you to provide Proof of ID and sign for your Apple Watch when it's delivered. If you miss the delivery, your Apple Watch will be delivered to the closest post office for you to pick up.

If you are an Optus customer, you will receive a monthly tax invoice for your 24-month Optus Choice Watch Plan. The $5 plan charge and credit will appear on your Optus tax invoice. You will be billed for the plan from month 25. If you are not an existing Optus customer, you will be able to access your plan details in the My Optus App or through MyAccount.

You'll lose your eligibility for the offer. This means you won't be able to reduce your monthly repayments through achieving weekly Active Benefits targets. Your monthly etika loan repayments will continue, unless you choose to cancel your loan, in which case the full loan amount will need to be settled directly with etika. Please read your loan agreement for more details. You will still be able to keep your connectivity with Optus for the 24 months of the Optus Choice Watch Plan.

Your Optus plan fees are not refundable. If you decide to cancel your Optus Watch plan the 24-month plan fees ($120) won't be refundable. The original offer has a $869 value and the loan amount of $649 incorporates a discount, as a result the Watch plan fees will not be refunded if you cancel early, and you will lose your connectivity.

From month 25, you will be charged $5 per month for the plan component. You can cancel at any time without any additional fees applied.

Unfortunately, you will not be eligible to take up the 'Get Apple Watch. Get Active, Get rewarded' offer.
