Example 1. - A Supplier who is pre-qualified to do minor trades works cannot be engaged as a Principal contractor to do high risk work without amending their WHS pre-qualification for the new scope of work. One size does not fit all.
Example 2. – If you have a Goods only contract with Optus and have not previously required pre-qualification, the Supplier cannot be engaged to install the goods as part of the existing contract unless amendment to the contract is made to reflect the additional duties.
