Meet Linton and Mike – Optus Business Centre Bendigo

Linton and Mike are the power team behind the Optus Business Centre in Bendigo. The duo have each other’s back, just as the Optus Business Centre, Bendigo is always there for their customers and community.
Linton is the operational driving force managing the 13 experts that make up the Optus Business Centre Bendigo team, whilst Mike handles the projects and installations for the business.
One of the projects that they’re most proud was working with local plumbers, O’Brien, to get their nbn plus phonelines up and running so they could do business again.
“O’Brien’s business was severely impacted by unexpected issues with their landline services,” said Linton. “As soon as we heard about their issue, we stepped in and show them there was a solution.”
After six months of struggles, Linton’s team had O’Brien connected to their customers again, on the latest devices, no less.
“Just seeing the new ease with which O’Brien was able to get back to business and the feedback we received made it all worthwhile.”
Another local business singing Optus Business Centre Bendigo’s praises is Bendigo Property Management.
“Bendigo Property Management’s business is broken up into several parts – tiling, concreting, plastering just to name a few,” explains Linton.
“Our team took the time to understand how their current system work and how they’d like their business to work. That way we could help them get to where they wanted to be.”
“We hooked all of the different phone numbers for the various parts of the business up into our Loop solution. This made sure that incoming calls could be answered correctly – helping them answer customers calls quickly and correctly and boosting Bendigo Property Management’s professionalism.”
Linton and Mike love keeping local businesses connected as much as they love connecting with their local community.
“Women’s football team is really taking off here,” observes Linton. “So we’re sponsoring our local team, the Bendigo Thunder.”
“We’re always there on game day to cheer them on and supply water for the team on the day.”
“We also support Sunshine Bendigo which provides practical help for families with kids in the Bendigo and Central Victorian areas,” says Mike.
“We help Sunshine Bendigo to supply the everyday basics for low income families throughout the year and something a little more special around the holidays.”
The Optus Business Centre, Bendigo team pride themselves on their community spirit and their work ethic.
“We go above and beyond for our community and our customers,” says Linton proudly.
“We will go the extra mile to fix an issue for our customer, even if the root cause wasn’t with us, so the customer doesn’t have to take precious time away from their business to solve the problem”
At the Optus Business Centre Bendigo, the team really is putting their customers, and their businesses first.
