Optus Wholesale Wins Global Carrier Partner Award in Japan

At the Arcstar Carrier Forum 2017 in Tokyo Japan, Optus Wholesale was awarded the Operations and Maintenance Award, beating out 27 other global carrier partners.

The award was presented by NTT Communications, the 4th largest telecommunications company in the world. Optus Wholesale was judged to have performed the best overall across a number of different service categories, including operation and delivery. The assessment criteria and key metrics included service team availability, call queue performance, and speed of communications such as network outages.

Mirza Sehic, National Manager Customer Service, Optus Wholesale, attended the event and was on hand to receive the award.

The international conference where the award was received is attended by Global NTT partner carriers aimed at further improving the quality of its global network services and customer satisfaction.

Topics discussed at this year’s forum included ways of reducing outage duration, outage ratios and the submission of more accurate outage information to customers.
