It is a mandatory requirement for all suppliers and their workers, including supervisors , subcontractors, and occasionally, regular visitors, to complete the online contractor induction course before entering an Optus facility or construction site where work is being performed on behalf of Optus
However, there are some exceptions to completing the Optus Supplier induction using the Optus Donesafe induction portal.
Visitors to an Optus corporate facility for consultation, professional services, or meetings will complete a brief online site induction at the reception area, lasting about 5-10 minutes. Visitors must be accompanied by an Optus employee at all times on these premises and will receive assistance in case of an emergency.
The Optus WHS induction course can be completed by anyone via the Donesafe WHS Induction portal. After successfully finishing the course, you will be emailed evidence of completion from Donesafe, which must be presented upon request while working at Optus sites.
