Samsung has come out this new year swinging with the much-anticipated Galaxy S24 Series, sporting considerable phone hardware upgrades, as well as innovative software changes from its predecessors.

Circle to Search⁴: an intuitive function in collaboration with Google which allows users to search up virtually anything captured on their phone screen, including photos, videos, and text. Simply tap the home button or swipe up and hold to activate Galaxy AI, and circle the object or text with your finger or stylus to search.
Live Translate⁵: Live Translate converts foreign languages to your preferred language (and vice versa) in real time - on call, messaging, and text. 17 languages will be available upon release, with Samsung promising to continue adding more languages in the future. The feature helps to remove language barriers and encourages more intuitive communication.
Photo Assist: offers advanced photo editing features such as resizing, retouching, and remastering with the help of AI. Simple to use with the Gallery app, Photo Assist makes every photo worthy for the feed.
Note Assist⁶: available on the Samsung Notes app, Note Assist provides quality-of-life functions such as text summaries and formatting options, that you can then copy and paste into documents and emails.

The S24 Series sports slight camera improvements to the S23, with increased zooming from 3x to 5x in the Ultra and upgraded sensors for crisper night photography.
