What’s hot on Optus SubHub in February

As the entertainment world gears up for an exciting 2025, three standout productions have fans buzzing with anticipation. We’re looking at Amazon’s You’re Cordially Invited, BINGE's The White Lotus Season 3 and Netflix’s Apple Cider Vinegar. These titles range from satirical drama to chilling exposés and laugh-out-loud comedies and are sure to please lots of already-fans along with new ones.

MA 15+, Prime Video Release Date: 30 January

For those still in holiday mode and wanting something light, Nicholas Stoller’s romantic comedy You’re Cordially Invited is the perfect antidote to being back at work. The film revolves around a bride and her father who find out their dream wedding venue has been double-booked with another bride and her wedding-planner sister. Yikes, not good.

Meredith Hagner as the competing bride

Shot under the creative umbrellas of Stoller Global Solutions and Hello Sunshine, the production promises a high-energy romp that explores family dynamics, sibling rivalry, and the sheer chaos of the whole wedding planning gig. Let’s go.

MA 15+, BINGE Release Date: 17 February

This Emmy-winning social satire returns for a third season. We’ll see a fresh cast who’ll no doubt be of morally questionable character. This time it’ll be set in a luxury resort in Thailand. Season 3 follows the lives of wealthy guests and resort staff over a single big week. Expect the signature The White Lotus blend of scandal, class commentary, and murder.

The teaser hints at possible deeper thematic explorations, including the commodification of Eastern spirituality. Interesting.

Parker Posey as Victoria Ratliff, the family matriarch whose sharp wit promises memorable moments
Jason Isaacs as Timothy Ratliff, a wealthy businessman vacationing with his dysfunctional family
Lalisa Manobal (Lisa of South Korean girl group, Blackpink) making her acting debut as Mook, a staff member at the resort
Natasha Rothwell reprises her fan-favourite role as Belinda

Season 3 was filmed at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui and other gorgeous Thai locations. If you’re after more of that biting humour and simmering tensions of previous seasons, you won’t be disappointed. Plus, there’s some luxe armchair travelling to be done.

This Australian series explores the dark world of social media influencers and wellness culture. Set at the birth of Instagram, Apple Cider Vinegar follows two young women who set out to cure their life-threatening illnesses through health and wellness, influencing their global online communities along the way. All of which would be incredibly inspiring, if it were all true…

Kaitlyn Dever stars as Belle Gibson in this true-ish story based on a lie about the rise and fall of a wellness empire, the culture that built it and the people who tore it down.
