Footy finals fever – celebrate your way

We all love finals time. All the wins and all the losses have brought us to this point and in the end, there can be only one premiership team. Whatever your favourite code — AFL, WAFL, NRL, WNRL, NRLW or all of them and wherever you call home across our great southern land, finals time gets us all fired up.  

It’s the pointy end of the season when we all come together — fans, friends and families want to share the glory, the spectacle and maybe a snag on the barbeque. We’ve supported our teams all season, been there for the good times and the bad and then it’s time to celebrate the best in the game.

Those of us lucky enough to get tickets to be there live will never forget the experience. There is nothing like a stadium full of happy people making some noise for their favourite players and teams. The first thing to bear in mind is that it’s going to be a long day. With games staring in the arvo and evening, it means you’ll have visitors from lunchtime to dinner time. All you need is a big TV, an Esky or two full of ice, some salads and you’re good to go. It’s a day that family and friends, young and old love to share with each other, so don’t miss out on the fun.

Lots of finals, means you’ve got plenty of chances to switch venues and visit mates and family as they take their turns to host the day. Remember, it’s not who wins the game, but who you share the experience with. And you can capture the moments that matter on your phone with some amazing pics of your nearest and dearest.
