New device insurance for mobiles and tablets
Have you ever dropped your mobile down a volcano, in a pool or covered it in mud? Never fear, Optus is here. We’ve got your back with our new device insurance, Yes Cover.
If your shiny new phone or tablet is lost, stolen or has an unfortunate accident, we’ll get you a replacement as soon as humanly possible – so you can get back to doing the things you love.
Ben White, Vice President, Mobile Marketing, Optus, said, “Optus Yes Cover is all about giving our customers peace of mind. We know how much Australians love their phones. They take them everywhere, on holiday, while exercising or even to the bathroom. But we also know disasters do strike. That’s why we’ve improved our device insurance to make it simpler, faster and easier for customers to get their devices fixed.”
Yes to being covered – wherever, whenever and however you need it[1]
“It’s important that we’re there for our customers not just at the start of their contract, but all the way through. Customers told us that our previous insurance policies were complex and didn’t cover what they needed. In fact, the old plans had 42 different excess claim types. With Yes Cover, we think we’ve got one of the best insurance options in the market,” said Mr White.
Yes Cover is available for Optus postpaid customers. It’s only available at the point of purchase when customers are buying a new device, but there’s a 19 day cooling off period so you cancel within that time without paying a premium, if no claim is made.
