Staying healthy from home has never been easier

A reliable, fast 5G connection is the perfect answer to the changing world, with even the most basic face-to-face meeting requiring the ample bandwidth of 5G. In a changing world that increasingly requires virtual meetings for fundamental necessities, there has never been a better time to find a home internet solution to better suit your needs. One of the most pressing issues is “e-health”, with doctors and patients turning to remote appointments to safely attend scheduled check-ups.

Innovative tech companies around the world have been creating the tools for Australians to use their existing devices to contact a range of specialists and doctors to assist them in the ever-evolving health landscape, with online access to GPs, psychologists and even vets currently available. The Optus 5G Future Innovations team have been liaising with local and international e-health start-ups, assessing the current and future benefits of 5G’s ample bandwidth and a fast, reliable connection when using these e-health solutions.

With a culture of social distancing in full force, and minimal changes expected in the near future, e-health has never been more relevant and useful for Australians looking to stay healthy from home. While experts around the world are working to further improve the e-health offering, there are many compelling technologies available today that allow you to opt for an e-health consultation the next time you need medical support.

Take a look at some of the innovative small businesses and start-ups that are committed to improving the e-health industry and overall wellbeing of Australians. All technologies are available on 4G, but the high bandwidth and unlimited data that helps provide crisp, glitch-free virtual interactions make Optus’ 5G Home the perfect solution for a seamless e-health experience.
