  • A valid form of identification

You can also activate replacement SIMs online.

How can I check my Prepaid balance and data usage?

How can I recharge my Prepaid service?

You can recharge your service the following ways:

  • using the My Optus app

Yes, you can change your current Prepaid plan. See this support page for more details.

How much MyData can I roll over?

For Optus Epic Data plan, if you recharge before expiry of your standard recharge, you can roll over up to 200GB data. If you accrue over 200GB you will forfeit any data over that limit.

What is expiry extension?

Expiry extension is the ability to stack your expiry period. When you recharge before your expiry period ends, any remaining days you have will be added to your future recharge. For example, if you recharge $39 on day 25 of your current recharge, you will have a 31 day expiry period on your new recharge.

Can I buy multiple recharges at once?

Yes, you can. Data rollover will work the same way, so you may notice some of your data is in MyData and some will appear in MyData Rollover.

How many days in expiry can I accumulate?

You can accumulate up to 84 days, or three $35 recharges.
