Partner with us to make a positive social impact through digital inclusion, technology donations, and connectivity programs. 

Bridge the digital divide 
Our Donate Your Data program has provided over 60 million GB of free mobile data to nearly 60,000 Australians since 2019.^ We work closely with organisations such as The Smith Family, Good360 Australia, and the KARI Foundation, delivering data to students, First Nations communities, and families in crisis or experiencing disadvantage. 
Develop safer online spaces
Our Digital Thumbprint Program has educated over 669,000 students in cybersecurity, cyberbullying, scam prevention, online safety and privacy. Recently expanded workshop to include Generative AI  The program is endorsed by office of e-Safety and has won multiple Australian and Asia Pacific awards including the 'Contribution to Society' Award at the 2023 ACOMM Awards in July and Awarded international recognition on the Steward Leadership SL25 Awards for Asia Pacific.^

Governance and compliance 

Optus is committed to upholding corporate governance practices and ensuring we have sustainable operations so our customers and partners can confidently meet their governance and compliance requirements, including environmental responsibility, ethical procurement, human rights and modern slavery risk management, and First Nations engagement.  

Meet environmental commitments  
Optus is committed to reducing Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions and is targeting a 55% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions and a 40% reduction in Scope 3 emissions by 2030. From 2025, 42% of our energy will come from renewables through a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Snowy Hydro’s Red Energy.
Ensure ethical and responsible procurement
Optus holds suppliers to strict environmental, social, and ethical standards through our Responsible Procurement Policy, which follows global sustainability frameworks. Regular supplier assessments and audits confirm adherence to ESG policies and sustainable sourcing practices.
Manage modern slavery risks  
Optus reduces modern slavery risks through our supplier engagement roadmap which includes engaging our high risk suppliers, conducting supplier audits, and performing due diligence checks. We are committed to continuous improvement and our annual Modern Slavery Statement outlines our progress against our action plan.^
Increase First Nations engagement  
Optus is committed to First Nations business engagement. Our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), launched in 2024, expands First Nations business procurement and strengthens diversity in our supply chain.
