*The ability of an Optus eSIM to operate as a redundant service depends on the availability of the Optus network at the time of any interruption or outage affecting a customer's primary service. If Optus's network is unavailable for any reason at the same time as an outage affecting a customer's primary carrier, then the eSIM will not provide carrier redundancy.
