The Google Pixel 11 series of smartphones has finally been revealed, including the base model Google Pixel 11, the more powerful Google Pixel 11 Pro, the bigger-screened Google Pixel 11 Pro XL and the foldable Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold. It’s an exciting time for Google Pixel fans and folks that have been thinking about upgrading to the latest range of Google-made phones.

We’re talking all about the Google Pixel 11 in this article, including the top features in this new range of handsets and why you should consider upgrading. More interested in a comparison? Give our Google Pixel 11 series vs Pixel 10 series article a read.

Google Pixel 11 series: Top features

  • Google Tensor G6 processor
  • HiLight on Google Pixel 11 Pro, Google Pixel 11 Pro XL and Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold
  • Gemini Intelligence(1)

Google Pixel 11, Google Pixel 11 Pro, Google Pixel 11 Pro XL and Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold: new phones explained

The Google Pixel 11 series represents the latest in smartphone development from Google, now with Gemini Intelligence(1), the new Google Tensor G6 chip, fun new colour options, and the new HiLight feature for the Google Pixel 11 Pro, Google Pixel 11 Pro XL and Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

All Google Pixel 11 models have received an exciting new range of colours, along with Gemini Intelligence(1), Google’s latest innovation in the mobile AI space.

Gemini Intelligence(1) helps you on the go by proactively anticipating your needs. For example, if a friend texts to ask if you're free for lunch on Thursday, Gemini Intelligence will recognise this and offer to check your schedule, tell you if you're free, and add the lunch to your diary. It's also useful for things like taking a picture of a notice board of events – Gemini Intelligence will recognise events and timings, and simply ask if you want to 'add to calendar'. Gemini Intelligence also utilises Google’s Nano Banana model for on-device image generation, letting you quickly create ready to go images, such as if you need a ready to go beach-themed birthday poster in seconds.

Starting off with the Google Pixel 11, this is the base model of the Google Pixel 11 generation, offering terrific specs such as the already mentioned Google Tensor G6 chip, 12GB RAM and a gorgeous 6.3” screen. It has a triple camera system on the back, with a 4985mAh (typical)(2) battery capacity.

Moving onto the Google Pixel 11 Pro, this is a smartphone to consider if you want a little extra oomph. Powered by the Google Tensor G6 chip, and fitted with your choice of 12GB RAM (with the 256GB model) or 16GB RAM (with 512GB/1TB), the Pixel 11 comes with a 6.3” display and a higher resolution than that on the standard Google Pixel 11. It also has more capable cameras and a 4850mAh (typical)(2) battery capacity. The Pixel 11 Pro also comes with HiLight on the back, functioning as a small LED dot that displays different colours when interacting with Gemini, or lights up when priority contacts are calling.

Stepping things up a bit, the Google Pixel 11 Pro XL takes the awesome performance of the standard Google Pixel 11 Pro and slaps on an even better screen, at 6.8-inches and offering a 1344 x 2992 resolution. It’s underpinned by the Google Tensor G6 chip, with your choice of 12GB RAM (with the 256GB model) or 16GB RAM (with 512GB/1TB). Keeping the phone going all day is a 5115mAh (typical)(2) battery capacity. The Google Pixel 11 Pro XL also comes with HiLight on the back, functioning as a small LED dot that displays different colours when interacting with Gemini, or lights up when priority contacts are calling.

Finally there’s the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold, the foldable member of the family. This phone offers the Google Tensor G6 chip and 16GB RAM across all models, an 8-inch screen when unfolded and a 6.5-inch screen when folded. Underpinning this phone is a 4,806mAh (typical)(2) battery capacity.
