Fun Easter school holiday activities for kids

With the Easter school holidays fast approaching, it’s the perfect time to plan some fun activities for your kids and get them away from scrolling their time away. Whether it’s putting together some arts and crafts indoors or going on adventures outdoors, there is something for every kid to enjoy and every parent to easily plan.
To help get your creative juices flowing this Easter school holiday, we’ve compiled a bunch of fun ideas you and your family can partake in, however we should preface - having easter eggs may be a non-negotiable for the kids.

Decorate Easter eggs

Decorating Easter eggs has been a longstanding classic activity for a good reason. It’s relatively easy to put together and best of all, it’s pure cuteness. You’ll get to see your children become creative and see how artistic they can be while also knowing that with a good newspaper surface and a couple of art smocks – the clean up will be easy.
All you have to do is cool down some boiled eggs, supply some paints or textasers and lay out an arts and craft station for their imagination to go wild.
With the Easter eggs you’ve made (or with store bought ones) you can eat them, repurpose them for some holiday decorations or use them in an Easter egg hunt. It’s almost a must when it comes to the Easter holiday break to do an Easter egg hunt. Simply hide some eggs in the backyard and have the kids run around to see who can find the most. It won’t just be an exciting and memorable activity but also a great opportunity for your kids to play outside and be active.

If we do get the chance, it’s often on the weekend - which generally is packed with things that need to be done including our rest and recovery for the week ahead. So doing a day trip during the holiday break, is a great time to do something you wouldn’t normally do.
