Westworld (R 18+)
A BINGE favourite with four gripping seasons, Westworld is a dystopian sci-fi series with a creative take on artificial intelligence in mid-21st century. The series follows android “Hosts” and high-paying guests who indulge in their wildest fantasies at a wild-west-themed amusement park, one of the only places where humans are not controlled by an AI named Rehoboam.
In this amusement park, robot Hosts are tasked to help humans fulfill their fantasies – however, have their memory wiped after every incident. After a new update causes a few Hosts to regain their memories, buried secrets about the park and its management are revealed, with some shocking twists that are bound to keep you watching for more.
House of the Dragon (R 18+)
The prequel to hit series Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon is its own original series about the Targaryen dynasty and its inspiring female heir. The show focuses on the court intrigue lightly explored in its predecessor and provides substantial depth into the tenuous peace of the era before the Game of Thrones times.
Akin to period dramas in their grand costuming and design, House of the Dragon also impresses with expertly choreographed action scenes and dark cinematography reminiscent of its predecessor. Exploring the deep and dark troubles of modern high schoolers, Euphoria is a gripping show focusing on two teenage girls trying to find their place in the world – Rue, a recovering addict, and Jules, a new girl in town. Following the two girls and their broader group of high school friends, Euphoria comments on the new-age social issues youths are faced with, including drugs, sex, violence, toxic friendships, and self-esteem issues.

Eating up all the hype right now is Succession, an American satirical black comedy drama known for its intense character dynamics and realistic corporate America backdrop. Little Women 2019 (PG)

A biographical romantic film drama led with an Academy Award-winning performance by Eddie Redmayne, The Theory of Everything tells the life story of world-renown astrophysicist Stephen Hawking. The film is an adaption of a 2007 memoir by Jane Hawking detailing her relationship with her ex-husband and brings her story to life by capturing the Hawkings’ beginnings in both the science world and the real world.
The film follows Stephen Hawking as he develops his thesis that a black hole created the universe in a Big Bang and is first diagnosed with motor neuron disease. The movie has a multifaceted storyline focusing on Hawking’s achievements in the science world, his losing battle with his disease, as well as his complicated relationship with his wife and children. An emotional, gut-wrenching story about life and hope, The Theory of Everything is an absolute must-watch on BINGE.

Trixie Motel (MA 15+)

Popular drag superstar Trixie Mattel has expanded her glamourous empire into the hospitality industry, trying her hand at running the “gaggiest, most iconic motel that ever existed”. Taking you on her endeavours, Trixie Motel is a TV series that showcases the ups and downs of running a motel, from trendy room renovations to hiring fun and fabulous staff.
