Optus powers up Woodsoak Homestead Tower
10 September 2021, 06:00 AM
Optus has switched on a new tower at Woodsoak Homestead in one of regional South Australia’s major seaside tourist destinations, the Limestone Coast. The new tower will strengthen Optus’ services across the region and provide locals with competition and choice to join our best network ever.
The Optus mobile tower will close the coverage gap and provide enhanced connectivity across the Southern Ports Highway between Robe and Beachport in the Lake St Clair and Lake George areas.
Optus Territory General Manager for Regional South Australia Rob Seymour said, “We’re thrilled to be able to provide mobile coverage to areas in the Limestone Coast and offer local residents and businesses genuine choice for their telecommunication services.”
“We know that right now, more than ever, it's so important to our customers to have access to a reliable network and we’re proud to be able to offer our fast 4G service providing optimal speeds for streaming and downloading content.”
Optus has invested $1.95 million into strengthening its network presence in the Limestone Coast of regional South Australia. Optus continues to invest to improve coverage, reliability and speed across its Australian mobile network, with Woodsoak Homestead Tower providing a competitive telecommunications alternative for local residents and businesses across the Limestone Coast region.
