OPTUS DOUBLES DATA ON MAJORITY OF 24-MONTH POSTPAID HANDSET PLANS

Optus today launched generous double data deals across the majority of its 24-month Postpaid handset plans, coinciding with the most anticipated handset launch of the year.

For a limited time, selected Optus My Plan Plus handset plans and My Plan Flex leasing plans offer double data inclusions for new and recontracting customers who sign up or recontract to a 24-month plan before 9 October 2018.

Double Data Offers

For $85 per month, plus applicable handset repayments, Optus customers can get any of the latest mobile handsets on a 24-month My Plan Plus or My Plan Flex handset plan and receive 50GB of monthly data (25GB + 25GB Bonus Data) for the life of their plan.

Data hungry customers can opt for the $105 My Plan Plus or My Plan Flex handset plan (additional handset repayments may apply) and get a massive 200GB of data per month (100GB + 100GB Bonus Data) when they sign up or recontract to a 24-month plan.

Optus also offers new and recontracting customers the chance to add a second Postpaid service (within 30 days) on the same bill to receive a discount of $10 per month on selected services.

Plus, Optus plans include the ability to share data across eligible Postpaid plans on the same account.

All Optus My Plan Plus and My Plan Flex Postpaid handset plans of $85 and above offer the following monthly inclusions:

• Unlimited standard national calls and texts
• Unlimited international calls and texts from Australia to 35 selected countries
• Optus Sport subscription included at no extra charge, where customers can watch year-round Premier League action, plus the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa Cup and UEFA Nations League live and exclusive
• Access to the National Geographic App included at no extra cost, where customers can watch hundreds of hours of science and nature documentaries and movies
• The option to stream Netflix, Stan and ABC iView without using the plan’s data for an additional $5 per month
• Second service discount on selected Postpaid mobile plans of $10 per month when added to the same bill as an eligible primary service
• Data Pool enabling customers to share data between eligible plans on the same bill

My Plan Flex gives Optus customers the flexibility to upgrade to the very latest device after 12 months for $99 when they return the current phone in good working order and sign up to a new eligible 24-month plan.
