OPTUS ANNOUNCES PRE-ORDER PRICING DEAL FOR SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE8

Optus has today begun pre-orders for the new Samsung Galaxy Note8 smartphone.

To celebrate the launch, customers who pre-order the Galaxy Note8 before 3 September will pay just $100 per month in plan fees on Optus’ $130 My Plan Plus, plus a $10 monthly handset repayment over the 24 month plan (minimum total cost $2640 over 24 months).

Customers also have the option to pre-order to lease the Galaxy Note8 on the $130 My Plan Flex for a discounted price of $100 per month with no handset lease fees for 24 months (minimum total cost $2400 over 24 months). Both pre-order deals offer a saving of $720 over 24 months.

In addition, Samsung is offering all customers who pre-order the Galaxy Note8 before 21 September a bonus Samsung Convertible Fast Wireless Charger valued at RRP$119* and customers who purchase the handset before 31 October** are eligible for complimentary screen repair within the first year of purchase.

$130 My Plan Plus and $130 My Plan Flex (reduced to $100/mth until 3 September) offer customers the following monthly inclusions:

• Unlimited standard national calls and unlimited standard messages (SMS and MMS) to selected countries
• Up to 750 minutes of international calls to standard international numbers in selected countries
• 30GB of data (40GB on My Plan Flex) and 1GB international roaming data
• Data-free music streaming*** from iHeartRadio, Spotify, and Google Play Music
• Data-free mobile TV streaming*** from Netflix, Stan, Yes TV by Fetch; and ABC iView
• Data-free access to the National Geographic app and all the Premier League action on Optus Sport
   

Customers who pre-order the Galaxy Note8 on a My Plan Flex will lease the handset from Optus, giving them the option to upgrade every 12 months for $99 when they return the current phone in good working order and sign up to a new 24 month plan.
