OPTUS INTRODUCES NEW BROADBAND PLANS AND YES TV BY FETCH MULTIROOM

Optus is today boosting its fixed offering with the launch of new broadband plans and Yes TV by Fetch Multiroom.

Ben White, Managing Director of Marketing and Product at Optus said, “Whether customers want a simple bundle with unlimited data for endless browsing, loads of entertainment, or a bundle that fits their business needs, Optus has a new broadband plan to suit them.”

Different broadband plans for a range of lifestyles

New and recontracting customers can now choose from Optus’ latest range of fixed broadband plans including:

• The Optus $60 Plan (minimum total cost of $1440 over 24 months) which comes with a fixed phone line and unlimited data for customers who want a broadband plan for everyday internet use
• The Optus $80 Plan (minimum total cost of $1920 over 24 months) for entertainment lovers which includes unlimited data, a fixed phone line, Optus Sports, a Yes TV by Fetch Mighty set-top box and a Yes TV by Fetch Channel Pack*
• The Office $80 Plan (minimum total cost of $1920 over 24 months) for small and medium business customers which includes unlimited data, a fixed phone line and a $360 Smart Shop voucher to spend on business applications

“These plans give customers the flexibility to choose the inclusions they pay for based on their needs. Customers who want to use their fixed phone line for calls can add unlimited local and national calls; unlimited calls to Australian mobiles; or international call packs for an additional monthly fee,” said Mr White.

More room for entertainment at home

Optus has introduced Yes TV by Fetch Multiroom for eligible fixed customers** who want to watch their favourite Yes TV by Fetch content on different televisions at the same time.

Households can watch Yes TV content on up to three televisions by attaching multiple Yes TV by Fetch Mini, Mighty or Gen-2 devices to a single account. Mini and Mighty services are available on month-to-month pricing for $10 or $15 respectively.

“Multiroom is the perfect solution for keeping the whole household happy. Mum and Dad can relax in the living room with their favourite sitcoms while the kids are watching Disney Channel or Nickelodeon in their bedrooms,” said Mr White.
