Optus today unveiled its newly refurbished retail flagship store to coincide with the landmark expansion of the Chadstone shopping centre, making it the largest mall in Australia.
The store is one of the largest Optus retail spaces in the country, and was designed specifically to give Australia’s most stylish and discerning shoppers a relaxed, boutique experience while trying the latest products and services.
Peter Kirk, Optus’ State Retail Manager – Victoria said, “The Optus store in Chadstone is one of the top ranking stores in Australia when it comes to customer volume.
“Each week our team here speaks to more new customers and serves more Optus customers than any other store in the country. This refurbishment is going to provide a premium experience to everyone visiting the Chadstone Optus store.”
“Our Chadstone store is all about turning retail into an immersive experience for customers. With technology people want to touch it, feel it and try it. We want people to come into this store and have a relaxed, hands-on experience.
“It’s particularly important with products like Yes TV by Fetch, so we’ve created our own lounge room in here for people to sit down and flick through the channels to experience the sport, movies and entertainment we have on offer, as well as try the best new devices on the market.”
The 222 square metre store boasts a lifestyle device bar where customers can try on the latest headphones and accessories, a tech expert bar to assist with questions about the latest and greatest technology, and a connected home lifestyle area featuring Yes TV by Fetch and Optus’ exclusive Premier League channel Optus Sport.
The retail team will expand, with five new team members joining the Chadstone store which will also extend weekend trading hours, closing at 9pm on Saturdays and 7pm on Sundays.
