CRICKET COMES TO OPTUS SPORT FOR SUMMER

Optus today announced customers can now watch cricket action with the introduction of a 24/7 Optus Sport channel dedicated to cricket this summer.*

Optus Sport is giving our customers easy access to a summer of exciting cricket action, with the freedom to watch a range of live matches on the go.”

Expanding Optus Sport with cricket

To make sure fans don’t miss out on any of the action, Optus has added a 24/7 channel to Optus Sport, as part of Optus’ exclusive content partnership with Cricket Australia.

Available until 28 February 2017 for eligible mobile, mobile broadband and home broadband customers with an Optus Sport subscription will get access to a great range of classic cricket matches, exclusive extended match highlights, and in-depth game analysis, all in one place.

An Optus Sport subscription also gives customers access to coverage of the English Premier League, including live matches, a range of Premier League news and analysis shows and highlights, as well as international football tournaments.

Live cricket on your mobile

From Monday, eligible postpaid mobile and mobile broadband customers can live stream this summer’s cricket data-free* on their mobile, with the Cricket Australia Live app which can be accessed via the Optus Sport app.

This means customers can catch all the live Test matches and one day internationals in Australia, Big Bash League, T20 internationals in Australia, on the go without worrying about how much data they’re using.

“Summer is a busy time and we want our customers to be able to watch their favourite matches when they’re out and about. With some of the biggest test matches and Big Bash League games live and data free on eligible mobiles, and our 24/7 Optus Sport channel dedicated to cricket over the summer, there’s no reason for fans to miss out,” said Mr Rybicki.

New and existing customers can get Optus Sport for just $15/month on selected plans $30 and above (minimum cost over 12 months is $540 on $30 mobile plan). Optus Sport is included at no extra cost on selected plans $85 and above (minimum cost over 24 months $2,040 on $85 mobile plan).
