Optus is warning customers of scam emails which advise customers to click on a link to pay their Optus bill.
These scam emails contain malware that encrypt your computer and demand payment for the system to be unencrypted (also known as ‘ransomware’).
If you receive this email, please delete it. If you suspect your computer or network is infected by ransomware, seek technical advice.
