OPTUS OFFERS A WORLD OF ENTERTAINMENT WITH UNLIMITED DATA

2 May 2016

Unlimited data on all new home broadband bundles.

Optus is putting an end to excess broadband data stress. From 2 May, 2016, new and recontracting Optus customers can choose from a new range of great value home broadband bundles, all with unlimited data. Plus, Optus customers can save $20 a month off their bill when they bundle their Optus postpaid mobile with one of the new broadband bundles.

Unlimited data gives customers the freedom to enjoy their favourite online streaming content at home without the worry of going over their data allowance. Aussies aged 18 – 32 spending an average of 12.8 hours a week[1] streaming their favourite shows, unlimited data is a great solution to keep everyone connected and entertained.

Ben White, Managing Director of Marketing and Product at Optus said, “Optus has been offering unlimited broadband bundles for years and we know how much our customers love the freedom that unlimited data offers. With 31 per cent[2] of Australian households using content streaming services such as Netflix and Stan, the demand for data has never been greater. Extending it to all our new broadband bundles means customers will never have to ration their broadband data, now they can get all of Optus’ entertainment offerings at once and have endless entertainment at home.”

“Optus has great unlimited data bundles for customers connected to the NBN, Optus’ cable and ADSL 2+ networks. Plus, customers connected to Optus’ DSL^ network will also have unlimited data with our range of Optus Reach bundles. So, no matter which new bundle they choose, customers now have the freedom of unlimited data.”
