Optus customers who want to contact family and friends following the terrible events in Brussels will be able to make free calls to Belgium throughout March.
Optus consumer customers with post-paid mobile or home landline services will receive free standard voice calls to Belgium from 12:01am AEDST Tuesday 22 March until 11:59pm 31 March, 2016. Calls made to Belgium during this time will not be charged to your next bill.
Optus prepaid mobile customers will receive zero-rated standard voice calls to Belgium from 07:00am AEST Thursday 24 March until 11:59pm 31 March, 2016.
The high volume of activity on the telecommunications networks around Brussels may affect some calls getting through. Customers may experience busy tones, recorded voice announcements or the call might go straight to voicemail when calling. We understand this can be frustrating and encourage customers to please be patient.
