Further update on our network status in the areas impacted by Tropical Cyclone Ita

Currently, we have 8 x 3G sites impacted by Cyclone Ita, due to local power outages. They are in Mossman, Rollingstone, Tabletop Mountain, Whitfield, Cooktown,Turtle Beach and Wonga.

Optus’ networks team are working with local emergency services and power authorities to monitor Cyclone conditions, any impact on our network in the region, and to get our teams out to restore affected mobile sites as soon as it is safe to do so.
