Optus offers truly (ruly) unlimited broadband bundles
Optus today launched its new range of fixed broadband bundles that include, for the first time, truly unlimited options without the hidden fees, catches or restrictive terms that have plagued customers in the past. We’ve called them My Home and My Office – simple broadband bundles that offer calls and internet with the option to add extra speed, entertainment or call inclusions to suit your needs.
We’ve got rid of the ‘gotchas’
Martin Mercer, Managing Director, Fixed for Optus said, “Our customers told us they were sick of rules, hidden fees, lock-in contracts and a lack of choice in broadband.” “These Optus My Home bundles and My Office bundle plans show we’ve listened and will now give customers the freedom to choose unlimited broadband bundles on a network they know and trust, with a level of flexibility, control and certainty around their spend that others don’t provide.” “These bundles really do take the complexity out of broadband for our customers – just as the launch of Optus My Plan did for mobile earlier this year.” “Optus is the only player in the market to offer this level of flexibility in broadband bundles with the option to do away with lock-in contracts and even move up and down between plans when you need to without being charged.” Here’s what
we’ve eliminated from our bundles

Let us entertain you
Optus has also launched a new range of Entertainment Bundles through Optus TV with Fetch, for the first time offering all 25 Entertainment channels in select bundles. Plus there are some great new channels such as Disney and Disney Junior along with the best of ABC4KIDS via ABC iView. “The inclusion of Disney is truly great value and gives Optus customers access to classic family entertainment whenever they want it,” Mr Mercer said. Optus has also launched a new, smaller, faster, (and better looking) second generation set top box with its entertainment bundle. “This includes the same market leading capability, with 1TB of storage capacity and three tuners so you can watch and record so much more,” Mr Mercer said. Existing customers set top boxes will be upgraded with the same great software so they too will enjoy the improved experience.
