18 new channels come together on revamped Optus TV with Fetch service

Optus TV with Fetch has welcomed some of the world’s most popular shows onto its service, with a host of new entertainment channels for an invigorated look and feel.

TV lovers can rejoice with 18 exciting additions with the new Entertainment Channel Pack, including E!, MTV, The National Geographic Channel, Fox Sports News, BBC World News, Discovery Home & Health and more.

Optus TV provides access to over 1,300 movies from as little as $3.95, bringing the excitement of the hottest movies in the comfort of your lounge. A range of speciality channel packs such as the World Channel Packs and Setanta Sports rounds out wide variety of entertainment options for customers.

Tim Carmichael, Vice President of TV and Video, SingTel Optus said, “With only 27 per cent of Australians currently subscribed to pay TV servicesi, Optus TV with Fetch continues to give Australians a compelling low cost alternative.”

“We have looked at what our customers love to watch and feel this sharpened channel offering will strike a real chord with entertainment-hungry Australian households looking for enticing viewing options, functionality and a state-of-the-art PVR, all at a very attractive price,” Mr Carmichael continued.

Available over an existing broadband connection, the rebranded Optus TV with Fetch on the Connect package brings the best of digital free-to-air and subscription television, with rental access to the latest movies. A stateof- the-art personal video recorder (PVR) is included, all starting from only $9.95 a month. The Entertainment Pack can be added to the Connect package for an additional $10 per month with the freedom to add and remove packs at any time.

The service is available to Optus fixed broadband or post-paid mobile customers from as little as $9.95 per month (minimum total cost over 24 months is $289.30).

Subscribers to the new Optus $110 or $140 Home Phone and Broadband bundles can elect to include the Optus TV with Fetch service on the Connect package for no additional cost.
