OPTUS REDEFINES VALUE FOR AUSTRALIANS WITH FREE BROADBAND OFFER

Optus today announced the launch of a revolutionary new offer for Australian consumers – for the first time Optus will give customers 50GB of free home broadband on a range of competitively priced mobile and telephony plans.

From 29 April 2012, Optus customers will be rewarded with 50GB of free home broadband a month when they sign up to the $89 Timeless Mobile Plan for 24 monthsi. Free broadband will also be on offer to Optus customers who sign up to the $59.95 Optus Home Advantage Planii, and businesses will receive 50GB of free broadband when they sign up to the $89 Business Timeless Planiii.

This ground-breaking offer with selected mobile and home phone plans represents fantastic value for Australians, making it even easier and cheaper for new and existing customers to stay connected at home, on-the-go and in the office.

About the new offer

Not only can Optus customers get a simple mobile plan with unlimited standard national voice calls and SMS for $89 a month, they’ll also receive 50GB of high-speed home broadband at no extra cost, bringing inspiration into the home.

The $59.95 Optus Home Advantage plan, which will also include 50GB of free broadband per month, combines unlimited standard local, national and 13/1300 calls with no additional line rental to complete the home phone experience.

Businesses can use their Optus mobiles to run operations on-the-go with unlimited standard national voice calls to Australian fixed lines and mobiles and unlimited standard national texts when signing up to the $89 Business Timeless Plan. Along with 2GB of included mobile data or emails and browsing through BlackBerry, 50GB of free fixed broadband will help businesses communicate with customers.
