Optus has answered the Pre-Paid mobile market’s demand for greater value at an affordable entry point with the launch of the Optus Turbocharge1 recharge and plan. Buy a $30 Optus Turbocharge Pre-Paid recharge and receive $120 worth of credit, or buy a $50 Turbocharge recharge and receive $250 credit when you choose the Turbocharge Pre-Paid plan. In addition, receive four free text messages to use every day. This product offers true freedom of choice, at typical monthly spend levels, because customers are not restricted on how they can spend their credit. It can be used for voice calls, text, photo messaging, Optus Zoo browsing, ringtones, international calls or international text, made to any network. “As Australians use their mobiles more they are demanding greater value for money. We wanted to reward our Pre-Paid customers with at least the same level of added value as is traditionally offered to cap or Post-Paid customers,” Allen Lew, Managing Director, Optus Consumer said. “We have identified the $30 entry point as appealing to people who do not wish to commit to a monthly cap or plan. “Optus recommends Pre-Paid mobile services for anyone who wants to control their mobile spend as paying up front provides an in-built credit control mechanism.
