Optus has significantly improved mobile coverage in Halls Gap, Coleraine and Natimuk following the installation of three new mobile towers in the region.

Rob Parcell, Director Victoria, said Optus was focused on enhancing and extending its mobile coverage in regional towns and along important roadways. "The townships of Halls Gap, Coleraine and Natimuk can now enjoy a real choice of mobile network. "The objective of the new sites in Halls Gap, Coleraine and Natimuk is to provide maximum coverage along roadways like Stawell Road, Grampian tourist road, Hamilton Highway between Wannon and Carapook, and the Wimmera Highway towards Horsham and Edenhope.

"Optus has plans to build an additional site over the next few months in Ardno. "We are confident mobile customers should now enjoy good signal levels in the area, which is why we are offering a 14 day Coverage Satisfaction Guarantee," Mr Parcell said.

Other recent improvements in the area include Edenhope, Wonwondah, Pimpino, Glenisla, Cavendish, Casterton, Wannon, Dunkeld, Wilkin, and Strathdownie.
