What is Equifax Protect?

Equifax Protect is a credit monitoring and identity protection service that helps reduce the risk of identity theft or financial loss.

Who is eligible?

New and existing Optus account holders are eligible for a 12-month Equifax Protect subscription. Customers who have already received an Equifax Protect offer from Optus are not eligible for a second code. Codes must be redeemed by 31 December 2022.

What’s included?

You will receive a complimentary 12-month subscription valued at $14.95/month. This includes;

• Monitoring of your personal information on the internet
• Alerts for changes on your credit reporting
• Monthly credit reports and score tracking.

How do I activate Equifax Protect?

Please message Optus via My Optus app or call us on 133 937 to receive an activation code and the link to activate it with Equifax. For Business and Enterprise customers, without access to My Optus app, please contact your Account Manager. One you receive the code and link you will need to sign up to Equifax Protect including providing Equifax with documents to confirm your identity.

Codes must be activated by 31 December 2022. One Equifax Protect subscription per eligible customer account. Equifax terms and conditions apply.
