People with green phones may be on the calmer end of the personality spectrum, preferring to avoid conflict and maintaining a positive, growth mindset. They also usually place value on spending time outdoors and in nature, finding balance in the peace and quiet.

However it’s worth noting that some colour psychologists say the colour green can also be associated with people who are prone to being jealous of others and keen to acquire personal wealth. 

A truly vibrant choice of colour for a smartphone, people with yellow smartphones are often jovial and fun to be around, according to colour psychologists.

As it’s a pretty uncommon smartphone colour, people with yellow smartphones are likely to be extroverts who enjoy expressing themselves and being the centre of attention. It sparks feelings of creativity and can be perceived as inspiring by others.

People choosing blue phones might be subconsciously letting us know they are calm, reserved and not looking to draw attention to themselves.

Associated with deep thinkers and a more conservative approach to life, the colour blue might also suggest these people are reliable and confident – making it easy for others to trust and listen to them.

Because this colour is not a usual smartphone colour option, those with blue smartphones might be looking to showcase the unique aspects of their personality by making this choice.

There are a number of associations people might make when seeing the colour gold, and they tend to be centred around the ideas of wealth, status and materialism.

Less common observations involve the pursuit of knowledge and the desire to share and help others with this knowledge – as building meaningful connections with others is a priority to these types of people.

So if you spot someone with a gold phone, it might be worth striking up a conversation with them, as you never know what valuable nuggets of information they have to share.

Silver or grey smartphone users are thought to be relatively neutral and simple in their tastes, similar to those opting for black phones. Their phone is a highly useful tool that makes things possible for them.

Silver or grey smartphones users tend to be willing to compromise more so than other personality types, and are usually calm and grounded people.

A bold choice, the colour red on the other hand is said to symbolise a sense of competitiveness, impulsiveness and high levels of physical energy.

Red is also favoured by people who like to stand out and be expressive, such as extroverts, as it’s such an unusual and eye-catching colour for a smartphone. These kinds of personalities thrive on being social and are naturally competitive, which can sometimes spill over into anger.

As red is often associated with love, this indicates these people are passionate individuals who believe in standing up for themselves and what they believe in.

Pink is often thought of as a romantic colour, and the same could be said for people who express themselves with pink. Believed to represent sensual individuals with bounteous kindness and generosity, you can trust a pink phone user to be considerate of others and bring cheer wherever they go.

That being said, there are many shades of pink, especially when it comes to phone design with some shades closer to red (like a blush) and others closer to white (like a pastel). You might find some of these learning shades a more accurate representation of your personality.
