CISCO ANNOUNCES OPTUS BUSINESS AS ITS AUSTRALIAN BROADCLOUD CALLING PARTNER

Optus reveals Cloud-based calling and collaboration service. Optus Cloud Calling will be available from June

Cisco today announced Optus Business as the first Australian telco provider of BroadCloud Calling – a complete cloud-based platform which enables service providers to deliver voice and collaboration services over IP-based networks.  From June, Optus Business will offer Australian enterprises a new cloud based Unified Communications service as Optus Cloud Calling.

Underpinned by Cisco’s BroadCloud platform, Optus Cloud Calling will offer Australian enterprises a complete cloud-based collaboration experience leveraging Cisco’s comprehensive collaboration portfolio. Capabilities will include enterprise telephony, native mobility and advanced conferencing and collaboration tools.

Cisco announced the completion of its acquisition of BroadSoft (NASDAQ: BSFT) in February 2018.
