OPTUS TO PARTNER WITH LEADING STARTUP INCUBATOR ATP INNOVATIONS

Optus has today announced a partnership with startup incubator ATP Innovations as an inaugural member of the Multiplier Program. This industry engagement program will see Optus collaborate with startups, researchers, and universities to work on a range of consumer driven product solutions.

Ben White, Acting Managing Director of Product and Marketing at Optus said, “Taking part in the Multiplier Program is a natural extension of our relationship with ATP Innovations.

“Optus has been actively involved in their work for a number of years now and we see this as an exciting opportunity to collaborate with their network of creative minds to produce innovative solutions that may benefit our business.

“With a number of products currently undergoing user testing there is an exciting future ahead for the team at the Optus Yes Lab, and we are really looking forward to seeing the business evolve in this space.”

The Optus Yes Lab program was created in October 2015 and was designed to use the same methodology and product development cycles as the startup world to identify opportunities and respond in an agile and creative way.

The Multiplier Program enables invited industry participants to work with the community of startups, industry, and researchers to create an exchange of information and ideas for mutual benefit. Optus joins with IAG, Cook Medical, and Woolworths as Multiplier Corporate Partners in 2016.
