Optus Network & Customer Support Update
As of 12 January 2016, there has been localised impact to the Optus mobile network in some fire affected areas of south Western Australia.
Optus engineers continue to closely monitor the network to minimise impacts for our customers.
Network Update
Due to major power failures currently there are no Optus mobile services in Lake Clifton, Wagerup and Hampden. There may be intermittent disruptions to Optus mobile coverage in surrounding areas.
Optus confirms services are available in Yarloop and Harvey.
Optus is working closely with the relevant authorities to enable quick and safe access to restricted areas to deploy back-up generators in response to power outages in locations like Waroona.
