Optus is putting an end to data worry across the nation. Everyone who has ever worried about not having enough data or even having too much can sleep easy from now on. Today Optus is making sharing easier with a new offer that lets you pool and share your data across all of your eligible mobile broadband and mobile devices. Plus, we’ve packed in even more data to our mobile broadband plans and we’re launching a great offer to help customers get a new tablet or smartphone to use that extra data. Dive into the Data Pool From today, Optus customers can share data more easily across their tablets, dongles and mobile phones by creating their very own Data Pool. Previously data-only devices like tablets and dongles could only share data from a linked mobile plan. Now, families, small businesses or anyone with a bevy of tablets, phones and dongles can combine any of the latest postpaid mobile broadband or mobile plans onto the one bill and share the data from each plan into one Data Pool. Sharing from one data pool means you only have one bill and keeping track of data usage is so much simpler. Existing account holders with an active 12 or 24 month mobile or mobile broadband plan can add a new iPhone or iPad on a 24 month plan to your account and receive a $150 one off credit.
