OPTUS ATTAINS GLOBAL SECURITY STANDARD FOR DATA CENTRE CO-LOCATION SERVICES

Optus announced today it has attained ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification for EXPAN™ Co-location services at its Ultimo Data Centre in Sydney. ISO 27001 is a globally recognised standard governing security of information and network systems.

Optus' accreditation follows a thorough assessment of its hosting services including the identification and implementation of rigorous controls to meet the information security needs of its corporate and government customers.
